At seven weeks, I already find that my baby is growing out of it (especially the premier swaddle - as mentioned above, the classic seems to stretch a little more). The swaddle is advertised for infants aged 0-6, or up to 18 lbs. This was a very minor issue since I have a sewing machine and was able to fix it. On one of my swaddles, the Velcro is so sticky that it ripped the stitch that held it to the swaddle. The Velcro seems to be stickier in some swaddles than others. This usually only happens during the day when I swaddle arms out.ģ. As my baby kicks, the weighted part droops out and then the rest of the swaddle falls off. When I swaddle my baby arms out, the weighted panels "help" in the swaddle coming undone. The holes are located in the triangular seams of inside pocket. After two weeks of use, I have found that there are holes in the seams because I do pull the swaddle tight. Due to this fact, I stretch the swaddle to ensure a tight fit. No matter how tightly I swaddle, my baby's arms are freed. The reason I docked a star for this was based on a few small reasons.ġ. So, for ease-of-swaddle, I believe all the swaddles are pretty much equal. However, it was a two step process that I don't necessarily believe helped with the night time changes. The Halo's sleepsack design with a zipper makes it very easy to keep a tight swaddle. The SwaddleMe and the Nuroo's designs are similar in the way the baby is wrapped. During our first weeks, we switched between different swaddles (wrapping in a blanket, as well as different brands such as SwaddleMe, Halo, Nuroo) and found we had the most success with achieving deeper sleep due to the weighted panels. The weighted panels really do soothe my baby. I have found that the classic swaddle seems a bit stretchier than the premier swaddle. I've used it since day one at the hospital (it was the one swaddle I packed in my hospital bag!) and now my baby is seven weeks old. No Money was received in return for our article. The Zen swaddle is made of really soft cotton. *This product was gifted in an exchange for our honest review from Nested Bean and all opinions are our own. Have you used swaddles? Weighted swaddles? I heard people are now making weighted blankets for adults now too! What are your thoughts? The Nested Bean Zen Swaddler Premier sells for $39.99 and comes in one size 0-6 months Try the Nested Bean swaddle to help your baby sleep for hours.īut Seriously this swaddlling cloth is very light weight and soft – the design is adorable – the velcro keeps Lulu from houdini’ing her way out of it right away – and the little beans on the chest and sides comfort her and make her feel as though she is being held – and while it is super light material -as these summer months have crept up on us I have a harder time putting my baby girl in anything other than a diaper to sleep. If you have a munchkin that likes to kick, kick, kick just like ours…

Its made from organic bamboo rayon and cotton and is so very snuggly. The Love Struck design is so very cute and the fabric is extremely cuddly The Nested Bean is weighted so she feels like she is sleeping in mommy’s armsĪnd because it has a velcro closure it keeps Lulu from any harm. So, after searching I found a swaddle that would keep her safe and tight. However, I knew that swaddling helped her sleep much more peaceful through the night – So, I announced “That’s It… I want my baby to be safe and health-y”…Īnd we released her from her swaddle to let her little legs and arms be free.

To find she had squirmed until her swaddling blanket was covering her head. One morning I awoke with a fright and so much dread It was as close as she could get to being in the wombīut after a couple of days she started to kick and say…”give my legs some room!”. Swaddling made her feel, ever so safe and warm. Lulu loved being swaddled at the hospital after she was born.
